Avelá is our longest resident, she came to us because she was given to a child who could not keep her in an apartment when the mother was unwilling to help. So in her first year she learnt nothing. Now she is good with most other dogs, with humans she is choosing who she likes and who she doesn’t! But if she likes you she is lying on her back in front of you and asking for a belly rub. She is an active dog, she likes long walks and likes to learn and this is something she really needs to do as she didn’t have a chance to in her former life to learn anything, but for an active person with dog sense she will make a perfect partner.
