How You Can Help
Adopt a Dog or a CatAdopting a pet from AEZA will save a life which is our purpose.
For adoption from AEZA there are minimum standards for comfort, cleanliness and quality of life.
Adopters must fill out an adoption agreement form, to undertake the responsibility for the well being of the adopted animal. This form also contains the adopters personal information and contacts.
You will be given a copy of this agreement.
AEZA reserve the right to contact and visit the adopted animal to ensure it is happy and in good health.
Every adopter will be asked to make a contribution, either monetary or other, such as feed or veterinary medicines etc, for each animal adopted. The size of the contribution is at the discretion of the person adopting.
Take your dog to your own vet to be checked over and make sure that the microchip is registered in your name as soon as possible.
Portuguese dogs settle very well in a home environment and those that have had a difficult start in life are incredibly forgiving and are truly wonderful companion dogs.
