Susie.
Birth date: 08/2023
Sex: Female, sterilized.
Colour: White with grey.
Health: Vaccinated and microchipped. Felv positive.
Susie appeared at a cat colony in Lagos a few months ago and when she was taken to the vet, she was tested positively for Felv. This and the fact that she seemed to be a domestic cat, meant, that she couldn’t go back to the colony. So, she joined our Felv+ cats at the AEZA cattery. First she was very shy, but now she always greets us happily and asks to be pet. She is fine with other calm cats, but would probably prefer the only cat of the house.
Susie is Felv positive and is welcome to live at the shelter forever. But there is a chance that the virus will never break out and that she can live a long life. So, if we could find a good forever or longterm foster home for Susie, we would be delighted. Please note, that Susie has to be an indoor cat, but a balcony or closed garden would be nice for her.
Please get in touch with us, if you are interested in adopting Susie or becoming a foster home. Volunteers, who spend time with our Felv+ cats, are also welcome and sponsors, so that we can buy high quality food for them.
